Why YaYa?

YaYa means nanny. In Tagalog and Spanish, the yaya is the person who looks after the children. 丫丫 (yā yā) sounds warm and familiar in Chinese, and it is just as easy to say in Arabic (يايا). We chose a name every family can say, because that is how a good helper should feel: part of the home.

Questions families ask

How fast can you find someone?

Most families receive 2–3 options within 48 hours of sending a request. Please send it at least 24 hours before you need the helper; if your dates are tight, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly what is possible.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on your city, the hours and the duration, so we quote when we send your options. There is no fee to send a request, and you never pay before you have seen the options.

Do I pay the helper or you?

You pay the helper directly, on the terms you agree together. YaYaHelp charges a one-time placement fee, stated clearly with your options.

Can the helper live in?

Yes. Many helpers prefer live-in arrangements, especially outside Jakarta. Tell us in the form and we only shortlist people who are comfortable with it.

What if I don't like the options?

Tell us what did not fit and we look again at no extra cost. If we cannot find the right person, you owe us nothing.

Why do you need my passport?

We verify every family before placing a helper in their home, and it is required for the helper's safety. The image is stored encrypted, seen only by our verification team, and deleted after your request closes.

Is my data safe?

Your request is stored encrypted on Cloudflare's infrastructure and handled under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27/2022). We keep request details for 12 months and delete them earlier if you ask.

Can I change dates after I submit?

Yes. Message us on WhatsApp with your reference number and the new dates, and we update the search.
